Tutorials: Creating an Animation

This tutorial series introduces visualization concepts and techniques via the workflow of creating an animation: from creating 3D models, materials, and keyframe motion animation in Maya to creating 2D graphics and animation in After Effects. We developed and first presented the tutorials in a four-day workshop during MIT's IAP (Independent Activities Period) in 2014; the series can also be included as a curricular module within other visualization courses.
