Physics

Background

We created the animation for the multimedia lecture “Gravity” in collaboration with physicist Dr. Colin Fredericks, then with the MIT Teaching and Learning Laboratory (TLL), and MIT Academic Media Production Services (AMPS). “Gravity” is part of a series of lectures on pivotal concepts in science and engineering, which is produced by TLL for the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) within the ongoing collaboration in education and research between SUTD and MIT.

Visualizations

“Gravity” features over twelve minutes of animation by ARTEMiS, hand-drawn in Illustrator and animated in After Effects. (Click on the image to see the film.)
